Temporary P&A
Interwell offers secure, efficient Temporary P&A solutions with advanced casing plugs, ensuring well integrity and compliance during well suspension and abandonment operations.
Safe & Efficient Temporary P&A Solutions
Interwell provides advanced solutions for Temporary Plug and Abandonment (P&A), ensuring well integrity with reliable, gas-tight barriers across a range of well conditions. Our plugs, certified to ISO 14310 V0 and API 11D1 V0-R standards, are designed for performance and efficiency, supporting both P&A and well suspension operations.
Our plugs can be set via wireline, electric line or drill pipe, and their slim outer diameter combined with a high expansion ratio allows for faster running speeds and high circulation rates.
Our field-proven packer element provides robust barrier performance and real-time barrier verification is available through our Barrier Verification System and Iconic system. With plug sizes ranging from 2 3/8” to 14” tubing and casing, our solutions meet the demands of high-pressure, high-temperature wells.
Reliable & Efficient Temporary P&A Operations
Interwell’s Temporary P&A solutions combine durability, operational flexibility and advanced technology to meet the most demanding well suspension requirements. Our plugs are suitable for gas-tight sealing, can be retrieved or reset multiple times, and are compatible with a wide range of well conditions, including sour gas environments. With NACE-approved materials, our solutions ensure regulatory compliance and long-term well integrity.
The EST setting tool, deployable on e-line or slickline, enables fast, efficient plug placement with real-time logging to verify plug setting. This tool, combined with our industry-leading high-expansion plugs, makes our Temporary P&A solution a secure and efficient choice for both short-term and long-term well suspension needs.
Backed by over 20 years of innovation and experience, Interwell’s Temporary P&A solutions reduce risk, enhance well integrity and ensure operational success in both drilling and intervention scenarios.
